At Houston-Johnson, Inc. our mission is to achieve customer business
goals through the management of change and information in the supply chain.
The ownership of HJI has a strong history in the automotive industry.
Prior to July of 2001 when they divested of their holdings, Wade and Alice
Houston, along with Charlie Johnson had controlling interest in logistics
related companies that was listed as one of the largest certified minority-owned
businesses in the country. Since the divestiture, the Houstons and Johnsons
are concentrating on leveraging their relationships, business acumen,
and resources to further develop HJI.
Our vision includes expanding our sequencing, modular assembly, kitting
and rework operations with our automotive suppliers as well as further
develop our entry into the consumer products arena. Included in the plans
for the future is the intention to develop 28 acres of land located at
1391 Dixie Highway with NS Rail access.
