Technology & Innovation

HJI has an on-going commitment to improve our services through the use of technology and innovations to maintain the cutting edge in our industry. We operate in the automotive industry where each manufacturer and supplier has his or her own unique technological requirements. We have been recognized as a leader in the automotive supply chain - particularly in the area of just-in-time service. HJI has an on-going internal strategy to maximize our customer support by continuously enhancing our information and automation support systems.

Technology equipment and applications include: Great Plains Accounting Software, Arena Simulation, Cisco Pix Firewall, Citrix, RF Guns, Broadcast Ingestion System, Verification System, Container Yard Management System and Transactional Audit Program.

Warehouse Management System
Our web-based warehouse management system provides visibility, collaboration and event management to both HJI and our customers. By harnessing the power of the internet, our system delivers real-time information to company executives, managers and customers. This allows us to offer our clients a customized web-interface that allows them to see the status of incoming goods, outgoing shipments, available inventory and an automatic notification of part shortages.

CYMS (Container Yard Management System)
CYMS is a web-based ocean container yard management system that gives HJI the capability to effectively manage multiple ocean container line transactions. The system delivers real-time information and status of container inventory, container aging reports and billing information. Additionally, it offers a simple but highly effective notification system which makes it an actionable system. It also provides advanced reporting features which allow users to conduct extensive analysis of container flow patterns. With an ASP framework for front-end and SQL Server for Database, this system has a more robust and scalable platform.
